An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-60 light tank in the early-series standard from the production of Plant No. 37, in 1:35 scale. It is a more demanding kit with elaborate internal equipment: a fully detailed interior, the engine and individual track links. The package holds plastic and photo-etched parts, decals and instructions; the maker is Miniart.
The T-60 was a Soviet light tank of the early Second World War, produced as cheap combat equipment that could be made available quickly. It stood out for its small silhouette, a powerplant derived from an automobile engine and an armament in the shape of an automatic cannon. The early series from Moscow's Plant No. 37 have characteristic design features.
Given the interior, assemble and paint the inside of the fighting and engine compartments before you close the hull. Use thin cement for plastic on the joints and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. A primer, an airbrush and a patina are the way to go: washes and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear. The hatches can be left open and the interior put on show.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
