This injection-molded plastic kit from the Ukrainian brand MiniArt represents the Soviet light tank T-60 fitted with a turret of the T-30 type, in 1:35 scale. It is an interior kit - it contains a detailed inside of the turret and the hull, the GAZ-202 engine and a well worked out driver's position and engine compartment. The hatches can be built open or closed. Photo-etched parts are included.
The T-60 was a Soviet light tank of the beginning of the Second World War, produced in large numbers from 1941 as cheap and quickly available equipment. It was powered by the automotive GAZ-202 engine and carried its armament in a small turret. The variant with the T-30 turret was armed with a 20 mm automatic cannon. The T-60 tanks proved themselves above all in the difficult period of 1941 and 1942.
Because of the interior, finish and paint the inside of the turret, the engine and the driver's position before you close the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic; a primer and an airbrush are recommended. Soviet green with washes and dust pigments gives the tank realism. Open hatches show off the work on the interior.
