Injection-molded plastic kit of the light German three-wheeled utility vehicle Tempo E400 with a steel sheet flatbed body (Stahlblechpritsche), in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The set contains clear parts, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet for several options. The model pleases with its fine rendering of a small period vehicle that complements a diorama or a figure scene well.
The Tempo E400 was a light three-wheeled truck from the Hamburg firm Vidal & Sohn Tempo-Werk. Tempo vehicles with a single front wheel and a simple design served in the 1930s and 1940s for delivering goods and for trade and municipal purposes. The Stahlblechpritsche form carried a fixed sheet metal body suited to carrying materials.
It is a small but detailed model, so work carefully with the small parts and the photo-etch, which is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the base coat with an airbrush over a primer. On civilian vehicles a glossier body finish comes out well; refine the wear and dust with gentle washes and pigments. The body and its load can be handled as a scene of their own.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
