An injection-molded plastic kit of the Israeli tank Tiran 4 Sh in the early version (Early Type) in 1:35 scale from MiniArt, in the configuration with a full interior (Interior Kit). According to the manufacturer it contains a well-detailed fighting compartment, the inside of the turret with its ammunition, the engine, the driver's position, workable torsion bars, individual track links, photo-etched parts and decals for several marking options. The hatches can be shown open or closed.
Tiran 4 is the Israeli designation for the Soviet medium tank T-54, captured from the Arab armies and taken into Israeli service. The Sh (Sharir) versions were rearmed and fitted with Western equipment. The early version (Early Type) retains a number of the original features of the Soviet tank before the later Israeli modifications arrived. The full interior makes it possible to show what the cramped crew compartment looked like, including the engine and the ammunition stowage.
Finish and paint the interior section by section before you close up the hull and the turret; plan which hatches you will leave open so that it stands out. Use liquid cement for plastic, and glue the photo-etched parts and the individual track links with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Pick out the inside with a wash in the details and finish the outside with dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
