An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer MiniArt. The set holds American soldiers and the legendary Harley-Davidson WLA military motorcycles, supplemented by photo-etch and a decal sheet. It is an ideal accessory for Second World War dioramas and a display case scene in its own right.
The Harley-Davidson WLA motorcycle was the standard army machine of the US Army in the Second World War. It served on liaison, reconnaissance and escort duties and became an icon of Allied motorized forces. The soldier figures capture the typical poses of riders and escorts.
Glue the small parts of the motorcycles and the figures with liquid cement for plastic, and the fine photo-etched items with cyanoacrylate glue. The motorcycles show to best effect sprayed with a primer and a base shade, followed by washes to bring out the detail. Paint the skin and the equipment of the figures in layers for a faithful look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
