This injection-molded plastic set from the manufacturer MiniArt in 1:35 scale contains figures of an American tank repair crew together with a model of the radial engine Continental W-670. It is not a kit of a tank: the vehicle itself is not included in the package. The set is intended to bring dioramas and maintenance scenes to life.
The radial engine Continental W-670 powered American light tanks (the M3 and M5 Stuart, for example) and the early versions of medium tanks. Scenes with the engine taken out and a repair crew at work belong among the favorite subjects of dioramas from the period of the Second World War.
Glue the small parts of both the figures and the engine with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the parting lines carefully. The engine comes out with the details picked out in color, and washes and pigments will give it wear and grease. The faces and uniforms of the figures can be handled with acrylic or oil paints.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The tank is not included in the package. Glue, paints and accessories are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
