Upgrade set Sd.Kfz.167 StuG.IV - early production, 1:35 (Rye Field Model)

This is not a kit but an upgrade set from Rye Field Model, intended for that company's own models of the early production of the StuG.IV assault gun. The package combines fine photo-etched sheets with metal parts and makes it possible to replace or complete selected plastic components with more faithful elements. It thus raises the realism without your having to hunt for parts from several manufacturers.

Building and painting tips

Bend the photo-etched parts exactly according to the instructions (ideally in a bender) and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the metal parts before painting and spray them with primer. The armor will be brought to life by washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
