An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet and Russian Ural-4320 off-road truck in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The model faithfully captures the characteristic high cargo bed, the 6x6 all-wheel drive and the massive chassis of the real vehicle. The kit comes as sprues with plastic parts, a decal sheet and instructions; paints and glue are not included in the package.
The Ural-4320 is a 6x6 off-road truck built at the plant in Miass in the Urals. It entered production at the end of the 1970s as the diesel version of the proven Ural range and to this day it forms the backbone of military and civilian logistics in many armies. Thanks to its cross-country ability and its payload it serves as a general-purpose load carrier and as a chassis for a number of derived and combat bodies, including rocket artillery systems.
It is best to assemble and clean up the chassis and the frame before you close the cab and the cargo bed, so that all the parts stay accessible. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, sand the joints and treat the surface with primer. An even base coat is best applied with an airbrush. For a realistic look, darker washes in the recesses and around the rivets suit military vehicles, followed by dust and mud pigments on the wheel arches, the wheels and the underside of the cargo bed.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
