Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet ZiS-151 truck in 1:35 scale from Zvezda. The model shows the three-axle cross-country vehicle with all-wheel drive (6x6) which served as a general-purpose load carrier and as a chassis for a range of bodies. The package contains parts for building the cab, the bed and the chassis together with a decal sheet; check the exact contents and markings against the instructions in the box.
The ZiS-151 was a Soviet truck introduced shortly after the Second World War. It built on experience with earlier cross-country vehicles and became one of the first series-produced Soviet trucks with 6x6 drive. It carried men and materiel, towed guns and served as the basis for engineer and rocket launcher bodies. It stayed in the inventory of a number of armies for many years before more modern types replaced it.
On a truck, give attention to the chassis and the drivetrain: assemble and clean up the axles, the steering and the exhaust before you close the frame and fit the cab, as you will not reach them later. It is practical to paint the cab and the bed separately. Bring the base olive shade to life with a darker wash into the recesses and a lighter dry brush on the edges; mud and dust effects with pigments on the running gear will give the vehicle a worn, in-service look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
