A figure of a pilot of the A-10A Thunderbolt II standing, 1:48 scale, one piece in the package.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American attack aircraft intended for the close support of ground troops, known for its toughness and its unmistakable shape. Its pilot on the apron wears flight gear with a harness, to which a helmet and further equipment belong. A figure beside the aircraft gives the model scale: it is only against a human being that the viewer realizes how big the machine in front of them is.
The set contains one figure of a pilot in 1:48 scale, in the pose the name describes as the second of the scene variants. The exact number of parts and any splitting of the figure is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The material is not polystyrene and ordinary cement for plastic models does not work on it. Use cyanoacrylate glue, and epoxy on larger contact areas. Cut away any excess material and traces of production with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the surface, so that the detail around it does not disappear. Before painting, wash the figure in lukewarm water with dish soap and let it dry completely. A thin primer works well, then the base shades and finally a light shading of the folds. Finish the face and the hands separately; a small area will only take thin coats of paint.
For modelers who build the attack aircraft in 1:48 scale and want a crew with it, and for builders of aviation dioramas and apron scenes.
The package contains one figure. The aircraft model, a base, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
