This is not a model of an aircraft but a resin (3D-printed) accessory. The package contains one standing figure of a pilot of the A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. The figure is meant to bring a model or a diorama in 1:48 scale to life; the accessory is made by Reskit.
A standing pilot gives a scene on a stand both scale and a story. This is the scene 2 variant, which follows on from scene 1 with a pilot and a mechanic; the two can be combined into a larger composition. 3D printing captures the detail of the flight suit and of the pose faithfully.
Wash the part free of uncured resin residue, separate it from the print supports and do any sanding with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Take the colors from the period equipment of US Air Force pilots.
The accessory is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted resin set. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
