A set of colored 3D interior decals on decal paper from the Ukrainian brand Kelik, intended for F-104G models in 1:48 scale. It faithfully reproduces the instrument panel, the side panels and the details of the cockpit with raised relief and a finished color print. The cockpit thereby gains depth as well as realistic dials with no laborious painting.
The set replaces hand painting of the instruments and paper dry-transfer decals. The raised 3D layer gives the panels their relief and the glint of their glass, which comes into its own above all on models with a clearly visible cockpit.
The application is the same as with classic decals: once lifted off the backing, the part is transferred onto a cleaned and preferably varnished surface. The thicker 3D decals call for careful dosing of softener, a sharp scalpel and tweezers.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit; the model itself and the paints are not included in the package.
