A set of replacement wheels in 1:48 scale for late versions of the Fw 190 and the Ta 152, listed as type 2 in the manufacturer's range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set replaces the landing gear wheels on a model of the German Fw 190 fighter aircraft in its late versions and of the Ta 152. Wheels are among the parts a viewer notices first on a finished model, because they are visible from the side as well as from below and they carry the weight of the whole machine. Replacement wheels tend to be more cleanly shaped than the parts from the kit and hold their circular shape better.
The Fw 190 was one of the main German fighter aircraft of the Second World War, and the Ta 152 came from it as a later development branch meant for flight at high altitude. The late versions differ from the early ones in their landing gear too, so it is worth choosing the wheels according to the variant being built and comparing them with a drawing or a photograph of the machine you are building.
The contents are a set of wheels for one model. The designation type 2 distinguishes the rendering within the manufacturer's range and is not a version number of the aircraft. You will find the material of the parts and their number in the data on the package and in the manufacturer's instructions.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the remainder down carefully, so as not to cut into the shape of the disc. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts, as ordinary cement for polystyrene need not hold. Fit the wheels only once the paint on the landing gear legs has dried, because otherwise you will press marks into the fresh coat.
Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
