A set of masking templates in 1:48 scale for spraying the national insignia and markings in CSLA form onto a model of the MiG-17F.
Responsibility details are not available.
The templates let the insignia and markings be sprayed onto the model instead of being transferred as a decal. Sprayed markings have no edge of carrier film, no air is trapped under them and the surface stays uniform, so the model stands up to a close look and to photography. The set is listed for a model of the MiG-17F, a subsonic fighter that also served with the Czechoslovak Air Force.
Masking templates for 1:48 scale, covering the national insignia and the markings in the form used by the CSLA, the Czechoslovak People's Army. The templates are cut to fit particular kits, whose abbreviations are given in the name, so compare them with your own kit before buying. The exact list of parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The order is fixed. Spray the base shade first and let it cure, and only then stick the template down. Press the edges carefully so that no paint creeps under them, and lay the paint on in several thin coats square to the surface. Take the template off shortly after the paint has dried; on cured paint it peels away less easily. Before you let the model dry fully, check the edges of the marking, as a small overrun can still be put right with a brush.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
