1:48 P-51 Mustang RAF insignias

Omask 1:48 P-51 Mustang RAF national insignia masks

This is a set of self-adhesive painting masks, not paints and not a kit. The masks serve to spray British national insignia, that is roundels and other RAF national markings, accurately onto a model of the P-51 Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. With the masks the markings come out sharp and symmetrical directly in the paint of the model, with no decals.

Use

• stick the masks in the right positions according to the shape of the marking
• spray the individual color rings of the insignia one after another
• always let each color dry and then mask the next ring
• when you are done, peel the mask off carefully while the paint is still fresh

Who the set is for

The set is meant for modelers who want their national markings sprayed in paint instead of applied as decals, which looks more realistic and stands up better to later weathering. It suits British versions of the Mustang in 1:48 scale.

This is a stand-alone set of masks. The model, the paints and the varnish are not included in the package.
