P-51B Mustang – double-sided painting mask 1:48 (Omask)

This set of accurately cut self-adhesive masks from Omask is meant for easy, clean masking while painting a model of the P-51B Mustang fighter in 1:48 scale. The double-sided designation means that the masking set covers the cockpit glazing from the outside and from the inside, so the canopy frames can be painted faithfully from both points of view. Masks for the wheel discs are usually included as well. It is not a paint and not a model, but a masking aid.

Use

• Lift the masks carefully off the sheet and stick them accurately onto the glazing and the wheels
• Press the edges down carefully so that no paint creeps under them
• Lay the paint on in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush
• Once dry, remove the masks carefully and you have sharp, clean frame edges
