A turned metal barrel in 1:48 scale from the Polish firm Aber. It is not a model but an accessory replacing the plastic barrel of a kit. The metal version has a perfectly round profile with no glue seam and an accurate muzzle, which on the slender F-34 barrel noticeably raises realism.
The 76.2 mm F-34 tank gun was the main armament of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank of the middle war years. It was a reliable and effective weapon that made the T-34 one of the most important tanks of the Second World War.
Cut off the plastic barrel and clean up the seat, then fit the metal one and fix it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the metal before gluing and use a primer suitable for metal. The barrel comes into its own once the base green and light wear have been applied.
This is an accessory, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
