A resin (3D-printed) figure set, P-47 Thunderbolt pilot and photo journalist, in 1:48 scale by Reskit — two figures to go with the MiniArt model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two resin, 3D-printed figures in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit: the pilot of the American P-47 Thunderbolt fighter and a war photo journalist. The set is laid out as an accessory for the P-47 model by MiniArt and is intended for more experienced modelers. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The pair of figures makes a small scene beside the aircraft: a pilot in flying gear and a civilian photo journalist of the kind who documented squadron operations in the Second World War. The combination of a serviceman and a reporter brings a diorama around the heavy P-47 Thunderbolt fighter to life and gives the scene a story as well as a sense of scale.
Wash the figures free of release agent residue and cut off the print supports. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and sand with respiratory protection. Apply a primer, paint the surfaces with a brush or an airbrush and work the face up with glazes. Bring out the uniform and the civilian clothes with gentle wear.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
