An injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:48 scale by the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. It contains fifteen figures: thirteen American infantrymen in poses running and firing and two tank crewmen, who will serve as crew for models of armored vehicles. A separate runner with weapons and equipment is included. The figures are assembled and painted.
The figures capture American infantry of the Second World War. The range of roles covers noncommissioned officers, riflemen, a rifleman with the BAR automatic rifle, a machine gunner, a bazooka gunner and a loader. The equipment and the weapons match the kit of an American rifle squad of the time.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and glue them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer; build the olive shades of the uniforms and the skin with an airbrush and finish with a brush. A fine wash into the folds will bring out the detail of the equipment.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
