A set of four resin NOTEK blackout lights for models of German armored and truck vehicles of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a detail accessory for completing a kit. The maker is the Czech brand Hauler.
NOTEK lights served during the war for driving in convoy in reduced visibility: the shielded construction let through only narrow bands of light, so that the vehicle stayed harder to see from the air. They were typical equipment on German vehicles.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap. Separate the casting blocks with a fine cut, not by breaking them off. Bond with cyanoacrylate (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. Before finishing we recommend spraying the parts with a primer.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included.
