German MG-34 machine gun with crew 1939-1942 is a snap-fit set of unpainted plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from Zvezda, from the Art of Tactic line. It represents a German machine gun crew with the heavy MG-34 machine gun of the first period of the Second World War, in summer uniform. The box makes it possible to assemble two identical two-man crews with two machine guns, four figures in all. The parts join with lugs (snap-fit).
The MG-34 was the general-purpose machine gun of the German army in 7.92 mm caliber, designed by Rheinmetall and introduced in 1934. It was the first general-purpose machine gun that could be used on a bipod as a light gun or on a tripod as a heavy gun. It was marked by a high rate of fire. The figures capture the gunner and the assistant feeding the ammunition belt.
The tripod and the weapon are made of several parts, so work carefully during assembly and secure any lugs with a drop of glue. We recommend a base coat of primer and a base in field gray. Pick out the ammunition belts and the details of the weapon with a dry brush and a dark wash.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
