This set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks from the Czech maker Omask makes it easier to paint the fabric-covered surfaces of the Hawker Hurricane Mk I and Mk II fighter model in 1:72 scale. These are not decals and not a model but masking stencils that help you create clean, crisp color transitions on the fabric covering while airbrushing.
The masks are stuck onto the fabric-covered surfaces of the model, sprayed over and lifted off once the paint has dried. The result is a precise outline of the color fields with no laborious hand masking. Part of the Hurricane's airframe and its control surfaces were covered in fabric, and a clean color transition there is demanding.
Degrease the surface before applying the mask, press the mask carefully down along the edges and lay the paint on in thin coats. Remove the mask while the paint is still fresh.
These are masking stencils, not a model and not decals. Paints and the model are not included in the package.
