An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from PST. The model captures the KV-1E version with add-on armor of the Second World War. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The KV-1E designation corresponds to KV-1 tanks completed with additional armor plates bolted onto the turret, the front and the sides of the hull. The added plates raised resistance but at the same time markedly increased weight and burdened the already strained drivetrain. The main armament remained 76 mm.
First glue the running gear and the lower hull, and only then fit the turret and the additional plates. Bring out the characteristic bolts and the gaps of the add-on armor. Glue the plastic with liquid cement and fine-tune the patina with washes and dust pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
