Zvezda Lifeguard Polish Uhlans (1:72) is a set of unpainted plastic figures of Napoleonic Polish cavalry for a historical diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings unpainted injection-molded plastic figures of Polish guard uhlans of the Napoleonic Wars in 1:72 scale. The package contains mounted figures in several poses and adds period weapons. It is a classic historical set from Zvezda intended for dioramas and battle scenes of the imperial era.
Uhlans were Polish light cavalry armed with lances carrying pennants, sabers and pistols. The guard regiment of Polish uhlans was raised after 1807 as part of Napoleon's guard and made its name in the campaigns of 1809 to 1815. Among its typical features were the tall square-topped cap and the long cavalry lances that gave the uhlans their fearsome reputation.
Separate the small parts with a sharp knife and clean up the flash, and use thin plastic cement for gluing. Lay a base color over the uniforms and bring out the detail with a wash; choose the pennants on the lances and the colored facings according to period guard schemes.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
