The Me 262A control surface set in 1:72 is a resin accessory from CMK that replaces the moving control surfaces on a model of the first jet fighter to see combat.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin detailing accessory, not a model in its own right. The set replaces the moving control surfaces, that is the ailerons, the elevators and the rudder, with finely cast parts that can be set deflected to give the model a livelier, more realistic look. It is made for the matching plastic kit of the Messerschmitt Me 262A in 1:72 scale; the base model is not included in the package.
The Messerschmitt Me 262 Schwalbe was the first jet fighter in the world to be produced in series and sent into combat, powered by a pair of Junkers Jumo 004 turbojets. It entered service at the end of the Second World War and marked a fundamental technological step.
Wash the parts free of release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand resin with your airways protected. It is a good idea to set the control surfaces at a slight deflection; apply a primer before painting and spray with an airbrush.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
