About product

3DF 1:72 MG 151/20, manually operated cannon installation (3D print)

This is a detail accessory, not a kit. The set reproduces in 3D printing the German 20 mm MG 151/20 aircraft cannon mounted in a flexible, hand-operated mount of the kind used as defensive or onboard armament. The fine printing captures the barrel, the body of the weapon and the mounting in far greater delicacy than injection-molded plastic allows in this scale.

The real subject

The MG 151/20 was one of the most widespread German aircraft cannons of the Second World War; in the 20 mm caliber version it appeared in fixed as well as in flexible, manually operated installations on a range of aircraft and boats.

Usage tips

  • Wash the print resin residue off the parts and separate them from the print supports.
  • They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue; handle the small parts with tweezers.
  • Do the sanding with respiratory protection.

Who the set is for

For modelers in 1:72 scale who want faithful detail of a 20 mm cannon in a flexible position.

This is an accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
