This is an interior 3D decal for the French two-seat strike aircraft Dassault Mirage 2000D from Quinta Studio in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit or an airplane model, but a three-dimensional color cockpit accessory intended for the plastic kits of the Modelsvit brand. This set is moreover complemented with 3D-printed resin parts, so alongside the flat relief decals it also offers volume elements of the pilot's compartment.
A 3D decal is made up of layers of colored resin on backing paper. Once released in water it behaves more like a pre-painted photo-etched part than like an ordinary decal — the instrument panels, the side consoles and the seats have depth, faithful colors and a raised surface. It thus replaces painting and photo-etched sets.
Dip the decals briefly and settle them in place; use a little suitable glue to fix them. Wash the mold release agent off the added resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue; protect your airways while sanding.
This is a cockpit accessory, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
