Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures of Russian line infantry of the Napoleonic wars (the period 1812 to 1814) in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It is not a model of a vehicle but a set of historical figures that will bring a diorama or a Napoleonic battle scene to life. The package contains six figures in several poses; the parts are designed as snap-fit, that is, meant to be fitted together without glue. For the poses and weapons, go by the contents of the package.
Russian line infantry formed the backbone of the tsarist army in the era of the Napoleonic wars, including the campaign of 1812. The soldiers wore a characteristic shako with a concave top, which appeared with the Russian infantry at the very beginning of 1812. The infantry fought in close formations.
Clean up the parting lines; even with snap-fit it is a good idea to strengthen the joints with a drop of glue. Choose a fine brush and acrylic paints for figures, a dark wash in the folds of the uniforms and a dry brush on the raised areas. On Napoleonic uniforms the contrasting colors of the facings and the straps stand out well.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
