Responsibility details are not available.
This plastic set of figures from Zvezda in 1:72 scale represents Swedish dragoons from the reign of King Charles XII, that is from the period of the Great Northern War at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. The set is made up mostly of mounted figures with horses in several poses, completed with figures on foot, so it allows a smaller cavalry scene to be put together. It is a plastic kit intended to be assembled and painted.
Dragoons were cavalry able to fight dismounted as infantry as well. At the beginning of the 18th century the Swedish army of Charles XII was among the most feared in Europe and was famed for its hard discipline and offensive spirit. The dragoons in blue coats with yellow facings took part in the campaigns of the Great Northern War against the coalition led by Russia, Denmark and the Saxon-Polish union.
Cut the small parts away carefully and clean up the parting lines; glue with thin cement for plastic. Work out the blue coats and the yellow facings with glazes and a fine wash, and bring out the leather and the straps with a dry brush. Paint the horses in variations of brown and chestnut shades, so that the scene looks natural. A primer under an airbrush or a brush will help.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
