A US mechanic in 1:72 scale is a resin figure from the Italian maker Royal Model for bringing aircraft and vehicle dioramas to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure of an American mechanic in a working pose in the small 1:72 scale. The polyurethane resin casting captures the working clothing of ground personnel faithfully. The figure is ideal for bringing aprons, workshops and scenes around vehicles to life, and it comes as a kit of several parts.
Ground personnel and mechanics formed the indispensable support of combat aircraft and vehicles alike. Without their maintenance the equipment would neither take off nor roll out. A figure of a mechanic at work gives a diorama scale, a story and a human dimension, whether beside an aircraft or beside a vehicle.
Wash the small parts free of mold release agent and separate them carefully from the casting blocks; work with a sharp knife and a magnifier. Glue them with superglue (cyanoacrylate). Lay down a thin base and paint with acrylic or oil; working clothing stands out in khaki and olive shades with shading into the folds.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
