Responsibility details are not available.
A set of plastic figures in 1:72 scale from the brand HäT. The package contains forty-eight figures in eight poses, with the poses divided evenly between two formations: four belong to Lützow's volunteer corps and four to the Nassau grenadiers. From a single box, then, you can build two different units of the allied army of 1815.
Lützow's volunteer corps was among the best-known formations of the Wars of Liberation. Its black uniforms came about for a practical reason, since dyeing already worn civilian clothing black was the easiest solution, and the corps' colors of black, red and gold later became the basis of the German national colors. The Nassau units served in the allied army in 1815 and bore the main weight of the defense of the farms of Hougoumont and La Haye Sainte.
Wash the figures, dry them and spray them with a flexible primer. Do not paint the black uniforms of Lützow's corps in pure black but in dark gray with lightened edges, otherwise the figure loses all its detail. The Nassau detachments, by contrast, need a richly green coat, which separates them markedly from the black volunteers. Mark both groups as soon as you cut them off the sprue, so that they do not get mixed up on your bench.
The figures are supplied unpainted and unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
