Responsibility details are not available.
A marker from the Gundam Marker line filled with clear varnish in a gloss form. The tip replaces a brush as well as an airbrush wherever the area is small and setting up a whole spraying rig would not be worth it.
A clear gloss layer has two usual jobs on a model. First, it brings out small parts that are meant to look like glass or polished metal, that is vision blocks, light lenses or the eyes of figures. Second, it serves as a smooth surface under a decal: on a matte surface air gets trapped under the decal and the edge then silvers, whereas on a gloss area the decal settles. Once dry and once the decal has been worked in, the surface can be evened out again with a matte varnish.
A new marker has to be primed: press the tip down several times on a scrap piece of plastic until the varnish starts to flow evenly. Apply it in a thin layer and do not press on the area or go over it repeatedly while it is wet, otherwise the layer will be furrowed. Before using it on a model for the first time, test the varnish in a hidden place: the solvent in the marker can attack the paint underneath, especially if that has not fully cured. After work, clean the tip and close the marker carefully, otherwise it will dry out. Store it lying down, out of direct sunlight and away from sources of heat.
The package contains this marker only. The model, paints and other modeling supplies are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
