An AMMO effect for imitating blue-green verdigris on copper and bronze. It comes into play on statues, fittings and copper roofs in dioramas and on ship models.

Copper Blue Patina is an aging product from the AMMO range, meant for imitating blue-green verdigris. It forms on copper and bronze by itself once the metal has been exposed to air and moisture for a long time, and it is precisely what sets apart an object that has stood somewhere for decades from a freshly cast piece. On a model it is a detail that the eye notices before the accuracy of the shapes.
Statues and memorial plaques in urban dioramas, copper roofs and gutters, the brass and bronze parts of ship models, fittings, valves and antique objects in scenes with figures. It also serves well where the blue-green bloom is meant to be only a hint: in corners, in gaps and under edges where water runs down. It finds a place on copper piping and on the fittings of models of steam engines and railroad equipment as well.
Apply it with a brush in thin coats, and rather in two goes than in one. The strength of the effect grows with the number of coats, and excess is harder to remove than it is to add. Around the places where moisture collects, wipe the area out so that the transition looks natural and the bloom does not read as an even coat. Degrease the base before applying it, or the effect will not take hold evenly. Stir the contents of the package thoroughly before use and clean the tools immediately after work. The thinner meant for this line, the thinning ratio and the drying time are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Brushes, thinner, other paints and a model are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
