A decal sheet for models of the carrier-borne MiG-29K aircraft and their two-seat MiG-29KUB version, in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor an accessory part but a separate sheet of markings, which replaces the decals from the box. It is intended for the machines of Russian naval aviation.
The MiG-29K is the carrier-borne version of the MiG-29 tactical fighter, adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier with a ski-jump ramp. It has a folding wing, an arrestor hook, a strengthened landing gear and protection against the salty environment. The two-seat form carries the designation MiG-29KUB and serves for training as well as for combat tasks. The machines of Russian naval aviation carry markings different from those of the land-based units.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface; on a matte area a white film forms under them. Leave the sheet in the water only briefly and move the piece into place with a soft brush. Blot the excess water away and let everything dry thoroughly. Finally give the area a coat of varnish to the degree of gloss you want, so that the edges disappear.
The sheet is supplied without a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
