European Splash Mud

A liquid acrylic weathering preparation meant to imitate fresh mud and dirt splashed over a model. The shade is a dark brown, typical of central European soil with an admixture of vegetation. It is water-thinnable, holds no solvents, is not flammable and is easily cleaned with water. It is laid on straight onto the model and dries quickly to a slightly glossy surface suggesting damp.

Use

• making splashes of mud on the underside of a hull, the chassis and the fenders
• dirtying and soiling wheels, tracks and running gear
• it is laid on with a brush, by spattering or by tapping across a bristle for a random pattern
• it can be layered and combined with pigments and other effects
