GM 12 Gray Paint Type Matt

What the marker pen is for

A gray covering paint in a marker pen, that is in a form that needs neither a brush, nor a thinner, nor any washing up after work. You pick it up and paint. It suits everywhere that setting up an airbrush would be a waste of time: small parts, interior surfaces, repairs to scuffed edges or adding paint where it has flaked off during the build.

A covering paint, not a paint for engraved lines

The designation of the marker pen says that it carries a covering paint. It is therefore not a thin paint that is run into engraved lines and flows into them by itself; this marker pen covers the surface. The shade is matte, so once dry it creates no sheen and it is easy to blend with matte-sprayed surroundings.

Work tips

• Before first use, shake the marker pen and press the tip onto paper several times until it is saturated with paint.
• Work with short strokes in one direction, as a long stroke over a coat that is not dry will pull the paint off.
• On a larger area, apply two thin coats with a pause, as one heavy one dries unevenly.
• Try its compatibility with clear coat and with other paints on a scrap of plastic, not straight on the model.
• Wipe the tip after work and store the marker pen closed and lying flat so that it does not dry out.

Who it is for

For modelers who need small painting jobs and repairs without setting up a whole painting outfit, and for builders who are off to a modeling event and want paint at hand. The model, the paints and the clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
