A gray primer that, according to its name, combines the function of a base paint and a fine filler. It unifies the base and prepares the surface for paint.

A primer is the first layer that reconciles different materials on a model into a single base. Paint holds on it better than on a bare surface, the shades sit as the original had them and are not distorted by parts showing through. A gray shade is the most universal choice: under light as well as dark paints, under metallic shades and under the top coats of military vehicles. The Microfiller in the name refers to the fine filling ability, that is to the fact that the layer fills the small marks left by sanding.
Wash and degrease the surface first, otherwise the primer will not take hold and will peel off during masking. Apply it in thin coats and let them set between one another, because a heavy coat floods the fine engraving and the detail disappears. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, that is the thinner intended for this line.
It does the most work where different materials have come together or where filling and sanding have been done. A grayed surface is the best check on seams: in a uniform shade you see at once the dips and scratches that were previously hidden under colored plastic. That way you correct the flaws before the top coat goes onto the model.
Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
