LG113 Mr. Color GGX Clear UV Cut Matt Gloss (Gunze)

A satin clear topcoat from the Mr. Color GGX lacquer range by the Japanese maker Gunze. It offers an even, less reflective finish with a UV filter (UV Cut), which helps protect paints and decals against yellowing and fading under UV light. It comes in a bottle with a volume of 60 ml. Compared with the gloss variant LG112 it gives the surface a subdued, less reflective look. The GGX range is a lacquer (solvent-based) system with less odor than the older Mr. Color ranges.

Use

• A final satin overcoat for finished models
• Evening the gloss out after decals have been applied - it suppresses shiny spots and decal frames
• The UV filter protects paints and decals against yellowing and fading
• Apply with an airbrush in thin coats; thin it with the special thinner of the Mr. Color GGX range (ordinary Mr. Color thinner does not have enough solvent power)
• It can be mixed with the Mr. Color and GX ranges, though mixing reduces the properties of GGX

Suitable for modelers who want a subdued satin finish with protection against yellowing - on military vehicles, figures, aircraft and collector's pieces where gloss is unwanted. Builders who need to even the surface gloss out after decals will appreciate it.
