The marker pen carries paint in a metallic green shade and belongs among the aids for working without an airbrush. It suits small areas and places where a brush would be hard to guide: edges, window frames, small parts, covers and accessories. The metallic shade moreover comes into its own where a surface is meant to look metallic without your having to set up a whole spraying rig for it.
Before first use prepare the marker pen according to the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging; with colored marker pens the contents are as a rule mixed and the tip is left to saturate on a piece of waste plastic. Apply the paint in thin coats and let the surface dry between them, as one heavy stroke leaves an uneven mark. Press on the tip only lightly; it guides better and lasts longer. Try the compatibility with the paint underneath and with a clear coat on a waste part, not straight on the model. Close the marker pen carefully after work, otherwise the tip dries out.
It will be appreciated by anyone who is finishing off small things and does not want to set up an airbrush for them, and by a modeler who builds without spraying equipment. It also serves well for repairing places where the paint has been scuffed during the build.
The marker pen alone is supplied. The model, thinner and clear coat are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
