A cleaning product for airbrushes that dissolves the residues of paint in the cup, on the needle and in the nozzle. It is used when changing between shades and after the work is finished.
Responsibility details are not available.
An airbrush forgives a good deal, but not dried paint. A deposit in the nozzle changes the pattern, the needle binds in a clogged channel and the gun starts spitting at the very moment the last coat is going onto a finished model. A cleaner is the means that dissolves the paint residues without your having to strip the gun down to the last seal every time.
Cleaning is most effective right after the work, while the paint is still soft. Rinse the cup out, let the product act briefly and then draw it through the gun into a waste jar; repeat until it comes out clear. Pull the needle out and wipe it in the direction from the grip toward the tip, never against the point. Clean the nozzle and the fine channels with a soft brush or a toothpick, not with wire, which would damage the metal edge.
Work in a well ventilated room or at a spray booth and protect your eyes and hands. Keep the product in a closed container out of the reach of children and away from open flame. Do not pour the used remainder down the sink but hand it in as hazardous waste.
The package holds the cleaning product only. An airbrush, paints, thinner and a cleaning jar are not included, unless stated otherwise.
