Small leaves shaped after an oak leaf, toned in autumn shades. It is a scenic material from which you arrange the leaves yourself; neither a finished tree nor a base is included. Compare the size of the leaves with the scale of the scene you are building.
In autumn dioramas and display cases: on the crowns of trees and bushes, on the ground beneath them, in ditches, on curbs, on the fenders and cargo beds of vehicles and in the corners of yards where the wind blows the leaves. An autumn scene is a rewarding one, because the color contrast between the leaves and gray vehicles or mud holds the eye on the model even without further figures.
On trees the leaves are attached in small portions: coat the surface with thinned PVA glue and scatter the leaves over it, then tap off the excess once it is dry. The same procedure works on the ground, only apply the glue irregularly so that the leaves do not lie in a continuous carpet. Glue individual prominent leaves in place with cyanoacrylate glue and tweezers. Build up from the top down and let the ground show through, because a real layer of fallen leaves is uneven and the ground is visible between them.
For builders of dioramas, display cases and railroad scenes who want to capture autumn, and also as an addition to a single model on a base.
