A modeling pigment in a pure green. A fine powder for deposits of algae, moss and green staining on models and in dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pigment is a fine colored powder without a binder. It is applied to the model dry and settles exactly where a deposit would lie on the real machine: in corners, around rivets, in gaps and on lower surfaces. Against paint laid on with a brush it reads matte and discontinuous, so the layer looks like a deposit rather than a coat. The pure green shade is the most saturated of the whole palette, and for that reason it most often serves as an additive that gives a greenish cast to more muted earth tones.
Green appears on machinery where it is damp and shaded: on the submerged parts of ship hulls, on stone walls and steps in a diorama, on wooden planks near the ground, in gullies where water stands and on vehicles left standing for a long time. Restraint decides everything here, because a continuous green area looks untrue, whereas a thin cast in the recesses reads to the eye as mold and algae.
The fixer, the brushes and the paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
