The Russian Air Force pilot figures, set no. 5, 1:48 are a set of resin figures of pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces in 1:48 scale for completing a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains resin figures of pilots of the Russian Aerospace Forces in 1:48 scale. It is neither a model of an aircraft nor a kit but an accessory to a finished model. The manufacturer lists the figures in numbered sets and this one carries the number 5, so it can be combined with the other sets of the range.
An airfield scene without people looks empty, however carefully the model is built. Figures of pilots in a coverall, a vest and a helmet with an oxygen mask give the whole a sense of scale and suggest the story going on around the aircraft. The equipment of present-day Russian pilots has a characteristic silhouette, by which the period can be recognized. Several sets from one range make it possible to build a larger scene without repeating stances.
Wash the 3D printed figures in warm water with a little dish soap and cut the supports off with a sharp blade, carefully at the fingers and the equipment. Sanding is done with your airways protected and gluing with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay a thin primer on as a base, paint the faces and the hands with a brush, lightening them step by step, and finish the coverall with a dark wash into the folds. Add gloss varnish to the helmet and the visor.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
