Figures of Soviet Air Force pilots with the ZSh-3 helmet, 1:72 scale are 3D-printed figures from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Soviet Air Force pilots in 1:72 scale from Temp Models. The figures wear a protective helmet of an older type, so they suit models of machines from earlier decades. It is not an aircraft model but the crew for it and for a diorama.
Soviet protective helmets went through several generations during the Cold War and each of them has a different silhouette: the shape of the shell, the attachment and the design of the visor all change. On a figure the helmet is the most conspicuous part and it tells the viewer which period a scene belongs to. A different suit and a different routing of the harness went with the older types of helmet, so the gear cannot be interchanged with today's.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. Paint the helmet separately from the suit, so that it separates from it in a small scale.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
