Responsibility details are not available.
A set of 3D-printed resin figures of Soviet Air Force pilots from Temp Models, carried as set number 21. The figures wear a protective helmet of an older type, so they suit models of machines from earlier decades. It is not an aircraft model but the crew for it. The figure of the scale in the name does not match the rest of this product series.
On a figure of flight personnel the protective helmet is the most conspicuous part and at the same time the most reliable clue to the period. Older Soviet helmets have a different silhouette from current ones: they differ in the shape of the shell, in the attachment of the visor and in the routing of the oxygen mask hose. The pilot also wore a different suit and harness with them. A modeler who puts a figure in current gear next to an aircraft from the sixties or seventies gives himself away at first glance.
The parts are held only by the thin supports from the print. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks with fine abrasive paper and protect your airway while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Lay a thin coat of primer under the paint. Paint the helmet separately from the suit, so that it separates from it.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
