A set of three AMMO pipettes in the enlarged XL version. They serve to measure out and transfer paint, thinner and other liquids during modeling work.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three pipettes in the enlarged version that carries the XL designation. Compared with an ordinary modeling pipette they take up more liquid in one squeeze, so they suit places where a small pipette would mean transferring in several goes: thinning a larger amount of paint, decanting from a large package into a working bottle or filling the cup of an airbrush.
A pipette is an inconspicuous but well-used aid in a modeling workshop. With it you measure out the ratio of paint to thinner without pouring liquid over the rim, you dose products drop by drop when mixing a shade, and you transfer the remains of mixed paint back into a sealable container. It will also serve to apply alcohol or thinner to a spot where you need to dissolve a dried residue.
Reserve each pipette for one group of liquids, that is, one for water-thinnable paints and another for solvents. You will save yourself ruined paint and unexpected curdling. After work, flush the pipette several times with a suitable thinner and let it dry squeezed downward, so that no liquid stays in the bulb. Do not draw liquid up past the neck of the bulb, as it gets inside and is hard to get out again. Better not to scrape dried residue out of the tip with metal, as the tip will be damaged and the pipette will then drip off target.
For everyone who mixes paints, thins products or fills an airbrush. The package contains only the pipettes; paints, thinner and mixing containers are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
