A set of unassembled and unpainted plastic fantasy figures in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Dark Alliance. The package holds 48 figures on foot in 12 poses (four pieces of each pose) and the height of the figures is roughly 24 mm. It is a standalone second set of goblins and a set to be glued and painted yourself, not a finished model.
Goblins are smaller, nimble orcs, the foot soldiers of dark armies in a world of swords and magic in the style of Tolkien and classic fantasy wargaming. They fight in numerous hordes, so the large number of figures in the set makes it possible to build a whole unit. They suit battle scenes, an escort for larger monsters and static dioramas as well.
Cut the figures carefully from the sprue (the casting tree) with a sharp modeling knife, clean up the flash and, if necessary, glue them with plastic cement or super glue. Apply a base coat (primer) before painting so that the paints hold better. Paint with a brush: acrylic figure paints suit the skin of the goblins, leather, the metal of weapons and cloth. With large numbers a quick technique proves itself, a base color, a darker glaze (a wash) in the recesses and highlighting with a dry brush, with which you paint a horde efficiently and uniformly.
The figures are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, brushes, primer and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
