WARGAME gel - Mars (Sira Hobby)

A texture paste (gel) for modeling from the Czech maker Sira Hobby, from the WARGAME range, intended for quickly creating relief terrain. The Mars shade creates a rugged rusty red surface resembling Martian dust and stony ground. The gel is acrylic and thinnable with water; it carries both the color and the structure, so a single application gives a readily colored, rugged surface. It is neither a paint nor a loose pigment, but a thick paste for modeling terrain.

Use

• apply it with a spatula, a flat brush or a finger to a figure base or the groundwork of a diorama
• the thickness of the layer determines how coarse and rugged the surface is
• once dry, the surface can be brought out with a dry brush or with additional pigments
• it is thinned, and the tools cleaned, with water
