A finished collector model carried under the manufacturer's part number HG1402. From the factory it arrives assembled and painted, straight for display.
Responsibility details are not available.
The item with the manufacturer's part number HG1402 is a finished collector model. You do not get frets of parts and instructions but a completed piece: assembled, painted and provided with markings already at the factory. That does away with all the work of building, sanding and spraying, and with the risk that the build will not come off.
A closed display case in the shade is ideal. Direct sunlight draws the shade out of the paint in time and marks the printed markings too, while a dusty setting clogs fine detail. For cleaning, a soft brush is all you need; wiping with a cloth will rather harm the surface. Lift the model by the large solid parts, as the small projecting parts are the most liable to break.
Finished models are bought by collectors who are building a coherent display case and do not want to spend dozens of hours on building, and also by modelers as a reference measure beside their own work. They work well as a gift precisely because the recipient has nothing to finish and needs no equipment for it. This is not a toy for small children: the fine details can be broken off and a finished model is built for looking at, not for playing with.
The model is supplied finished and is not meant for any further assembly. A display case, a base, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
