A set of parts for building the Evangelion humanoid combat machine number 02, in the Radiant Pre-Colored Edition rendition, that is with the parts supplied already colored.
Responsibility details are not available.
Evangelion is a giant humanoid combat machine from a Japanese animated series. It is not driven like a vehicle: it is controlled from the inside and moves like a living body, and its shape follows from that. Against the angular robots of other series it has slender elongated limbs, a strongly shaped head and a surface made up of large smooth areas separated by sharp edges. The number 02 in the name sets one particular machine of the series apart from the others, which the range offers under designations of their own.
The attribute in the name says that the parts are supplied already colored, so the build gets by without spraying the whole surface. It does not mean that the model cannot be taken further: the seam edges, the small details and the shadows in the busy places are painted in just as on an ordinary set. The word Radiant is the name of this edition; what exactly it sets apart is given by the manufacturer. It is a plastic model from the science-fiction field; the part count, the height of the finished model and how the parts are joined are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
With parts supplied in color, clean work decides the result. Fingerprints and grease will show on a smooth surface, so handle the parts with gloves or hold them by areas that stay hidden. Apply the glue sparingly and only into the joints, because glue that runs out damages the colored surface. Before gluing it permanently, assemble the figure dry and look at it from the front: the shoulders and the hips must be at the same height, otherwise the stance will look crooked.
Paints, glue, filler and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
